What the troop does

Scouts BSA is the program once known as Boy Scouts. Scouts camp, hike, cook, learn first aid and outdoor skills, do service projects, and earn merit badges and ranks on the way to Eagle Scout. The scouts plan and run their own troop, with trained adult leaders supporting them.

A partner troop for girls

Troop 709 works alongside Troop 1709, a troop for girls. The two troops meet at the same time and place, so families with sons and daughters keep one schedule.
